Introduction from Sumira Khan

I am a passionate educator with 20 years of creative work experience. More importantly, I am a homeschooling mother to three self-learners.

The COVID-19 lockdown of 2020 opened up pathways for me to align my family�s learning journey with our core values and passions. The exploration of unschooling further shook up our lifestyle and belief systems. It has been an adventure ever since.

I began my career in freelance journalism and content creation, and went on to lead a content writing team. I then transitioned to education with interactive storytelling sessions for early learning, as well as teaching over 85 students online (India, US, Canada, Australia, UK).

I believe that learning to express oneself through the written word transforms lives. My classes and workshops are a combination of gentle guidance and fun expression, within a safe, non-judgmental space.
